Christmas Day

On Christmas Day, everyone was dressed to impress. Mairead had on her new Christmas dress and her pearls from Nana.

In the morning, she carefully arranged her favorite new toys (she found them in her stocking that Santa left), and was honestly thrilled with those. Little did she know that we hadn't really started the big Christmas celebration yet!

Linny, Tuck, and Ming-Ming, too....

Jack and Ben were definitely dressed to impress! They are on the wrong sides in this one, but I think they just look so much alike here.

Back on the 'right' sides.

Having fun with Daddy.

Santa's 'big gift' to Mairead was a pretty cool art table. She LOVES to color, paint, etc, so we made the investment in a table that is designed for just such things. We know that all three kids will be able to enjoy it for years to come. She loves it and has spent a lot of time there already.

We had plenty of company on Christmas night. Dave and I estimated that there were just about 40 people in and out of the house during the evening.
The Flying Guziejka Brothers (and Matt's lovely wife, Lauren) came by for some fun and to celebrate Brian and Christin's engagement. Jack hung out with Matt for a while-- they had some calls to make.

Mairead and I posed for a picture with Mairead's new cousin, Lily, and her mom.

A nice family picture of the Crowders.

Matt and Lily.

Lily's shirt says it all...

We had such an amazing holiday and have so much to be happy about and thankful for. Thanks for visiting- we are looking to many more happy posts in 2010!

I feel like we could have stopped Christmas at the stockings, too. Connor was THRILLED with his stocking stuffers, and we're STILL watching the DVD of Thomas... his new favorite show. It's all about the trains now!

I love the new family photo. Mairead and Dave have the same smirk. Loving these little updates...does that mean your computer is better?

Mairead looks beautiful and the boys are just dashing! She'll be enjoying that table for years! What a great idea.
