Yesterday, Mairead had a new adventure when she went swimming in the big pool at Nana and Grampy's house. She loved it! We were glad that she turned out to be a little water baby, because she will be swimming a lot this summer at the pool, the beach, and at Grandma and Grandpa's house, too!
She loved this float-- we were in the water for over an hour, and she did not want to get out!
Welcome!
Thank you all for sharing in the lives of our three amazing children- Mairead, Jack, and Ben. We hope you visit often!

11 Months Old and relaxing in the pool
Today, Mairead is 11 months old-- can you believe it? I can't fathom that she will be a year old soon- this year has gone by so fast and she has grown so much. We are still so thankful for her, and as we get closer to her 1st birthday, we keep seeing signs that she is totally healthy. No more physical therapy, no more 'extra' pediatrician visits, and just one more visit to the neurologist. She is crawling like crazy, can stand unassisted for a few seconds at a time, and is almost ready to walk. She is doing great!
Mairead finally got to spend some time in her own personal pool. It's been warm enough a few times, but threatening clouds have postponed the activity. Today, though, it was perfect. She loved it! She had her Nemo bath toys and had a great time.
We even got a rare picture of Mom
After swimming, she was pretty tired, so we tried a ride in the wagon (Thanks, Danny and Katie!), but she mostly wanted to try to stand up in it, so that was a short lived activity. She was having fun, though!
Soon, we should be able to go in Nana and Grampy's big pool, which will be even more fun. But this one is great for now!
