Today I had my 24 week appointment with my doctor, and everything looks great! He is really happy with the boys' strong heartbeats, my blood pressure, my weight, everything. That is always good to hear! He also did a test to see if I am at a high risk for pre-term labor in the next two weeks, and it was negative. Good news all around! The boys' heartrates were 141 and 150, which is where they usually are. I am measuring the size of someone who is 28 weeks pregnant with a singleton. The picture below is NOT flattering, but you get the idea...Just wanted to give you the update!
Welcome!
Thank you all for sharing in the lives of our three amazing children- Mairead, Jack, and Ben. We hope you visit often!

Ooohhh....
This past weekend we were finally able to put up our own Christmas tree. Mairead has been very impressed with it, and has been more interested this time. If you look at the picture, you will notice that there is a good sized gap between ornaments in the middle- she can reach them and likes to take them off of the tree. She is very gentle, but she loves to stare at them.
She climbed up onto the hearth herself to see the stockings... maybe she is waiting for Santa already.
She found this little Pooh ornament and has been carrying him around. She took him with her for her nap the other day, and at dinner, brought him to her chair and very deliberately placed him in the little cupholder on her tray. It's pretty cute! She can say, "Pooh" now, and it is very sweet.

Whenever Mairead comes into the house or down from her nap, she sees the tree and gets very excited. Her new 'word' is "oooohh," and she uses it to tell us how much she loves the Christmas decorations!
