Ooohhh....

This past weekend we were finally able to put up our own Christmas tree. Mairead has been very impressed with it, and has been more interested this time. If you look at the picture, you will notice that there is a good sized gap between ornaments in the middle- she can reach them and likes to take them off of the tree. She is very gentle, but she loves to stare at them.

She climbed up onto the hearth herself to see the stockings... maybe she is waiting for Santa already.

She found this little Pooh ornament and has been carrying him around. She took him with her for her nap the other day, and at dinner, brought him to her chair and very deliberately placed him in the little cupholder on her tray. It's pretty cute! She can say, "Pooh" now, and it is very sweet.

Whenever Mairead comes into the house or down from her nap, she sees the tree and gets very excited. Her new 'word' is "oooohh," and she uses it to tell us how much she loves the Christmas decorations!

I hope that you are all enjoying the holiday season without too much stress! To our NY family- we hope that you are thawing out after the storm!

Ooohhhh! She is so cute! I don't think her eyes can get much bigger there. Can you believe next year you will have 2 more stockings and probably some crawling boys to keep away from the tree?

How come the Christmas tree in this post has a big whole in the center of it but not in the header picture? BTW - I love the header picture! And, as for thawing out - we are about to get some major snow this week! Hope your feeling well.

It looks like she will be a big help when you take the Christmas tree down. :)
